I've started encountering this now that I am more active on LinkedIn! Interacting not just with junior engineers, but folks learning programming for the first time is wild! I've completely forgotten the challenges of learning your first language, and the challenges of overcoming those biases! And the challenges of learning a completely differnet second language and the feelings of WHY IS IT SO DIFFERENT AHHH.
It has really forced me to reflect on my own journey. I can't imagine not knowing these things, and I kind of trivialize how hard and long that journey was to get there.
